What is something about your business that brings you joy?

We really love making specialty coffee accessible to everyone. Many folks have never tried light or medium roast coffee - they are used to coffee from large franchises that's all roasted the same way. It's exciting to see so many people excited about the array of flavors that specialty coffee can offer.

What are you looking forward to?

We're getting ready to release the first coffee in our new Farm Friends Partner program - this program highlights coffees that we have sourced directly from coffee farmers. By working directly with farmers instead of importers,  we have better insight into the fair treatment of workers, the quality of the coffee, and the farming process.

This week, we’re highlighting one of our amazing coffee vendors! Taylor and Steven are the owners of SW Grilled Coffee, and have been a part of the Co-op for a few months now. They’ve rounded out our coffee options with two delicious, sustainable choices.

 SW Grilled Coffee is a specialty coffee roaster and provides mobile coffee service in addition to selling freshly roasted beans. As a Certified Green Business, they focus on sustainable roasting practices and conservation efforts. For every pound of coffee sold, they donate a dollar to the Grand Canyon Trust, an organization whose mission it is to preserve the southwest environment.
